This event is for children ages 6 to 11 years.
Come and see how people live in China, India, Australia, Egypt, Brazil, Israel, and Mexico. There will be live music, puppets, an extreme park, prayer around the world, and many more surprises.
It’s free and will be a great time for the children. This will be a bilingual event. Come and invite your friends.
October 1-10, 2010
Members of Heights, along with Christians from Reno, NV, Portland, OR, Vancouver WA and Tucson, AZ will be working on a new village called the "Village of Hope" located a few miles outside of Port au Prince which is slated to be developed as a faith-based community for Haitians displaced from the January 12th earthquake. The church has been finished by a previous team in the center of town. We will be helping in construction of a water purification plant, homes, a medical clinic and a community center.
October 15 and 16, 2010 at Heights
A dinner theatre production, Cindy and the Godfather, is coming to Heights on October 15 and 16, 2010. The classic fairy tale of “Cinderella” with a Christian theme. “Cindy” chooses authentic love of “Prince Alarming” over the superficial attention of “Prince Charming”. The moral of the story is: “Beauty cannot masquerade as kindness!” See 1 Sam. 16:7.
This is a full theatrical production and we will need a lot of volunteers. It will also be a fundraiser for our mission team to Ecuador. For more information, call Sherry Nagel at 379-1284 or the church office at 881-9889.
