Missions Trip to El Salvador — July, 18-27, 2008

We traveled around the country using our VBS supplies and lessons to share the Gospel with literally hundreds of kids and parents in very remote areas of El Salvador. The pastor, Leonel Ramirez and our driver, Giovanni Valle drove us to places where there were very small churches or no churches at all. We would pick up the pastor for that area and then go throughout a neighborhood and invite children and their families to a VBS presentation. Sometimes we would meet in a church, sometimes on a school property, one time we met on a soccer field with cows grazing in the field. The responses to our message were nothing short of a miracle. Each lesson that we taught and shared was perfect for the situation in that community. We went to twelve different sites in seven days and saw so many children and their families come to Christ. We went to Apopa to build a church, a building, and instead God used us to build His church, His body of believers.
