After the destruction of Jerusalem, Jeremiah is freed and allowed to stay in the land with the remnant of Judah that Nebuchadnezzar did not deport to Babylon. However, the actions of those left behind only solidify why Judah was judged by God. The attitudes found with the remnant can easily be found by those who claim the name of Jesus, if we aren’t careful.
