Heights Christian Church

We meet at 6935 Comanche Rd. NE, at the corner of Louisiana and Comanche. Our service begins at 10:30 AM and is a contemporary service filled with praise and worship music. For the first part of worship, children (except for nursery age) remain with their families in the sanctuary.

Our time of singing is followed by communion. At Heights Christian Church, we participate in communion every Sunday. The observance of this sacrament every Sunday ensures that the gospel is preached each time we come together, as we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins.

After communion children are dismissed via announcement, accompanied by a parent or guardian, to their age appropriate class. Our Sunday children’s ministries are called DiscoveryLand (ages 3-5) and PromiseLand (Kingergarten through 5th grade). Learn more about our children’s programs.

As a congregation, we are reading through the Bible with our 5-year reading plan. The plan includes weekly scripture readings, and then we gather together on Sunday where the sermon expands upon a particular section of the scripture that we’ve just read. Click here to view the reading schedule.
