We will look at the second half of Ezra and see people who aim to honor God with their actions. We will see a Persian King who paid for the restoration of Jerusalem, a group who packed up everything to return home and serve God, and a group who had to make hard choices to separate themselves as God’s people. Today we can learn from these choices that helped set the stage for the coming Messiah to redeem all of humanity.
