Palm Sunday is an enigma. On the one hand, it is the proclamation of the King of Israel coming to His people in peace. On the other hand, the peace that Jesus came to bring wasn’t what the people of Israel was looking for, yet so desperately needed. This strange dichotomy is what sets the stage for the greatest event in all of history.
