As we start our study in the historical books of the Bible, we find ourselves at the beginning of conquest. With the passing of Moses, Joshua begins the conquest of the land God has promised the people of Israel. However, conquest doesn’t happen all at once. So as we walk through this 400 year history, we will see how the people of Israel lost focus on their mission and the unexpected people who remained faithful.
