Traditions, all of us have them. Some of them are superstitious, such as wearing a rally cap sideways because “it usually works” to help a team play better. Others are more profound, like leaving the head of the table empty at the Thanksgiving table in remembrance of the head of the family’s recent passing. Whatever your traditions they all have an origin, something that kicked it all off. In delivering Israel from Egypt, God begins to establish traditions for the Israelites to follow. Let’s learn what God calls those traditions and how those traditions affect our relationship with Him and with others.
