I have heard it idealized that the goal of ministry is to eventually work yourself out of a job. The true measure of discipleship isn’t in the numbers of people you might bring to Christ, but the ones that you have raised up to maturity. Eventually, we are all replaced. But this raises an important question: Who is YOUR Successor? And how do you prepare them to carry on after you are no longer there? These are the profound questions we will seek to answer as we look at Moses’ solution to this problem.
